HAIR CARE GUIDE

When it comes to real virgin hair you should take care of it as if it was your own and consider it an investment. The better you care for it, the longer it will last.

BRUSHING

The use of a soft bristle brush or looper brush is recommended. Make sure to detangle gently as if they were your own hair because pulling can cause breakage. Work your way from the bottom to the top.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU WASH YOUR HAIR

You should generally co-wash your hair weekly. The objective is to repair dry and damaged hair by rebuilding the hair’s molecular layer and restoring its hydration.

The use of hair products sulfate-free and paraben-free is highly recommended.

*CO-WASH BEFORE INSTALL

HOW TO WASH YOUR HAIR

Tip: Organic products are the best as they prevent chemicals addition that would damage the cuticles of your hair. Sulfate can also causes split ends or dryness.

Step 1: DETANGLE
Brush hair to get rid of any tangle.

Step 2: SHAMPOO
Saturate Hair with hot water then apply
your shampoo.

Step 3: 2ND SHAMPOO
* If first shampoo doesn’t give you a
white foam, Rince Hair then
reapply shampoo.

Step 4: DEEP CONDITIONING
Rince shampoo , squeeze
excess water then apply your deep
conditioner. I personally let mine sit
for a minimum of 20 min.

Step 5: HAIR SERUM
After rincing conditioner with cold water,
Towel dry hair, then apply few drops of organic hair serum
to lock in moisture.

Step 6: STYLING
Use thermal protectant spray and Style
your hair as desired or let it air dry.

SWIMMING/ VACATIONS:

For Healthy hair after a beach or pool session, protect it before swimming by adding a slick coat of coconut oil, braiding your hair and/or put in a ponytail.
This trick would reduce the impact of salt and chlorine water. Rince immediately after because salt of chemicals sitting on your locks all day would cause a hair disaster.

STYLING

Air-dry and flexi-rods to dry or curl you hair are the best recommended methods however heating tools such as hair dryer, flat irons, curling irons are also okay to use as long as it’s with moderation. Make sure to use a good heat protectant.
Tip: Avoid using too many hair products as this will cause a build-up and weighting down the hair.

Tip: Have the hair installed by a professional. When wefts are not cut properly this will cause shedding. The use of a weft sealant will also prevent shedding.

SLEEPING

Prior to bed detangle hair and pull it back in a soft ponytail/braids and use a scarf or a silk bonnet to reduce the stress on your hair to prevent tangling during your sleep.

Tip: Never go to bed with wet hair as this would cause tangling.
